Clear Distinction

But among the Israelites it will be so peaceful that not even a dog will bark. Then you will know that the LORD makes a distinction between the Egyptians and the Israelites. (Exodus 11:7 NLT)

Our God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is still doing what He did for the Israelites in the land of Egypt. He has the power over dogs and other enemies of our soul. He will not allow any dogs(including doggish ones among men) to do us any harm. Let us trust in Him today for our protection and also for the protection of our families. "He that keeps Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers".

He fights for us

For the LORD your God is He that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you (Deuteronomy 20:4).

He keeps His own

I, the Lord, am its keeper; every moment I water it. Lest anyone punish it, I keep it night and day (Isaiah 27:3 esv)

One with God

"One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the LORD your God, He it is that fighteth for you, as He hath promised you" (Joshua 23:10).

Is any thing too hard for Him?

"Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:27 esv).

He still specializes in doing the impossible. He is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us. He will never leave His own. David said "I was once young but now I am old, yet I have not seen a righteous forsaken or his seed begging bread". If we trust in Him, He will give us the desires of our heart.
