But among the Israelites it will be so peaceful that not even a dog will bark. Then you will know that the LORD makes a distinction between the Egyptians and the Israelites. (Exodus 11:7 NLT)
Our God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is still doing what He did for the Israelites in the land of Egypt. He has the power over dogs and other enemies of our soul. He will not allow any dogs(including doggish ones among men) to do us any harm. Let us trust in Him today for our protection and also for the protection of our families. "He that keeps Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers".

David said "I was once young but now I am old, yet I have not seen a righteous forsaken or his seed begging bread". If we trust in Him, He will give us the desires of our heart.
